Selecting The Right Photo Booth

With all the different types and styles of Photo Booth’s out there how do you know which is right for you? I believe it comes down to 3 basic questions.
   1. Who is offering the Best Value ( not necessarily the cheapest )
   2. Most Attractive Booth ( best look for your style & venue )
   3. Personal preference ( what style do you like )
What are you getting for your money! Ask, don’t assume every company is offering the same things. Most include a CD or Memory stick of all the photo’s taken but some do not and they will not advertise that. What about more than one copy, props, color choice, attendants, setup / tear down, travel are these items included in the price or are they extras? Budgets are very important I know, but don’t just book the cheapest Booth you can find because it fits in the budget. If it happens that it is the best value that’s okay but you may just get what you pay for. On the flip side, don’t assume because it is the most expensive that your going to be getting the best product. Ask & compare!
Does the Photo Booth look like it was put together by middle school kids in an intro to industrial arts class or is it a Photo Booth that looks like it was actually put together by a professional with quality materials and craftsmanship. Weather you give it much thought or not the Photo Booth that you hire to be at your event directly reflects upon you. Does it look cheap & poorly put together or Elegant & Beautiful.
With a wide variety of Photo Booths out there to choose from it may come down to your personal preference. Do you like the Old Classic, Open Air ( backdrop & a camera ), Soft Sided ( curtains that surround a camera ), hard Sided ( similar to the classic ) or a combination of the hard & soft sided. With the exception of some of the Old Classics most of these choices offer the latest in technology, high mega pixel cameras and high speed printers such as Dye Sublimation. If you do chose the old classic style that is still mixing the chemicals onsite you will want to inform your venue about this. Most will not allow those chemicals on the property, they are just to hazardous. The day of your event is not the time to find out that the Hotel wont let them on the premises.
I know there are many questions you may have and these 3 questions only spark more. That’s Okay, these will help to eliminate the companies that don’t fit you or your budget. Once the search has been narrowed you can ask many more questions to the Photo Booth Companies that are a better fit to your needs.
